Barnhart Balfour Beatty is currently seeking Superintendents to fill positions for Military Projects in California.

Requirements:
Candidates must have New and or Military Repair/Renovation construction experience.
Candidates with Military Repair/Renovation construction experience must have and be able to provide
relevant experience within the past ten years of military design build renovation projects and must show project experience of over $10,000,000 in construction cost for each project, not an aggregate of projects.

Description
Superintendents on Military Projects are responsible for overseeing the daily activities on a construction project. This position is responsible for managing the project schedule, safety program, and coordination of work among the various trades.

Duties and responsibilities of a Superintendent-Military Projects include the following:
- Manage project schedule.
- Track quantities of work put in place on a weekly basis.
- Approve and cost code vendor invoices.
- Conduct weekly trade/contractor coordination meetings.
- Implement Company safety procedures (i.e. enforce hardhat/ proper work attire)
- Conduct weekly Tailgate safety meetings.
- Implement and manage the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP).
- Responsible for implementing the DuPont Safety Training Observation Program (STOP).
- Ensure safety and security of job site.
- Coordinate work among various trades.

Experience Required
Minimum of 5-10 years experience on Military Projects.

Must be experienced with (or willing to learn) computer-based construction management software.

Experience with Prolog a plus.
