Plans will be available on or after April 15, 2010. Plans may be purchased at the office of the Construction Manager, Barnhart-Balfour Beatty, whose address is 10760 Thornmint Road, San Diego, CA, 92127 or Barnhart-Balfour Beatty's RUHS field office located in the parking lot behind 200 N. PCH, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 (enter parking lot from Vincent Street just east of PCH); for $175.00 per set, payable to REDONDO BEACH UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, company or cashiers checks only (no personal checks or cash will be accepted). Plans may also be purchased at the Pre-Bid Conference or from FORD GRAPHICS at their Long Beach Branch at 562-436-9761 ask for Pat or Ellen. For further information contact, Greg Andersen, Project Manager with Barnhart-Balfour Beatty at our field office at 310-372-6020. For plans requesting to be shipped, the shipping costs shall be the responsibility of the proposed bidder. Bidders wishing to pick up documents shall notify the Construction Manager and should telephone first to ensure an adequate number of sets are on hand.

| Pre-bid Walks |
| All bidders are hereby notified of NON-MANDATORY Pre-bid Conference on April 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interested Contractors shall meet at the parking lot of Alta Vista Elementary near the intersection of Knob Hill Ave. and Avenue A, Redondo Beach. Any questions or clarifications arising from these inspections are to be submitted to the Construction Manager in writing and in accordance with the bid documents. The purpose of this meeting is for bidders to have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the bid requirements. No interpretations or clarifications of contract documents will be made at this time. NOTE: IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ATTEND THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE. |
