Oxnard Parking Structure
Oxnard, Calif.
Barnhart Balfour Beatty with Channel Islands Building and Development Partners of Oxnard, constructed a 450-space parking structure for the City of Oxnard. The $10.75 million, 181,665 SF, cast-in-place concrete parking structure is part of the Oxnard Civic Center Remodel and Addition for the City, where Barnhart provided Construction Manager services.
The parking structure contains four levels of above-ground parking spaces with ground level retail space and plaza open space. Vertical transportation includes a circular ramp for cars and stairways and elevators for pedestrians. The parking structure is a shared-used facility serving both the Civic Center and the Downtown Business District.
