Barnhart Balfour Beatty was the general contractor on the $62 million Terminal 2 Expansion Project at San Diego International Airport at Lindbergh Field. The project was completed on schedule, in time for use by the 1998 Super Bowl attendees. The concourse is a 290,000-square foot, two-story, structural steel building, with an exterior of mostly glass walls. The building has three rotundas, one for entry, one for a marketplace, and one for concessions. It also contains an eight-gate concourse.
